54 species photographed so far this year.
A further species, an Essex Skipper, was seen (but not photographed) by Daniel on his transect on 9th July
A male Brimstone & Peacock were spotted earlier (but not photographed) on 24 Feb by Ruth Budd. A sign of how early the butterflies were out this year was that, on 26 Feb, Stefan Morris and Lucinda Offer spotted 11 Brimstones, 6 Commas and 8 Peacocks.
There are 2 photos of the Brassy Longhorn Moth - a male on 24th April and a female (with shorter antennae) on 29th June.

Small Tortoiseshell spotted on 8 March by Tony Flecchia. Red Admiral & Green Veined White spotted by Daniel Bound on his first transect of the year.

Daniel Bound on his transect on 11th April identified:
a Red Admiral, an Orange Tip and a Green-veined White.
And a Jersey Tiger Moth was spotted at the top of Field 3 on 16th August by Ruth Budd.
